Charlie Rudd
President and Chief Executive Officer

Charlie Rudd took on the role of co-owner, President and CEO of SolutionsIQ in September of 2006. Charlie leads SolutionsIQ as it continues to move forward toward future growth and expansion as a premier IT organization. Formerly COO for the organization, Charlie has been responsible for establishing the SolutionsIQ business strategy and running day-to-day business operations since 2003.  Prior to joining SolutionsIQ, Charlie worked for seven years at Microsoft in IT management where he led the technical teams responsible for business applications across all company divisions. With more than 20 years in the industry, he has accrued extensive experience in business application development, project management, program management, process improvement, change management and workforce development. A graduate of the University of Washington, Charlie holds a B.A. in Psychology.

John S. Rudd
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

In September of 2006 John Rudd became co-owner and Executive Vice President of SolutionsIQ responsible for special projects.  John maintains his role as partner in Newmarket Partners, LLC where he leads the firm’s financial practice, specializing in advisory services, mergers & acquisitions, and interim management.  Having gained extensive experience as a business owner, adviser, lender, and intermediary, John brings a multi-faceted perspective to his clients. He has served as interim CEO, President, CFO, and CRO for multiple companies.  John received his MBA from the University of Southern California, where he earned admission to Beta Gamma Sigma, and a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota.

Brent Barton
Chief Technology Officer

As chief technology officer, Barton plays a key leadership role in implementing the strategic vision of SolutionsIQ as an Agile organization, building SolutionsIQ’s premium Agile development services and initiatives, while addressing such key issues as delivering greater value to customers.
 
Brent is a Certified Scrum Trainer, Agile coach and an international leader in Agile consulting. He brings more than 15 years of technical experience as a consultant and mentor to his role as CTO. Through Agile methodologies he helps companies successfully build software better, and faster. Graduating from San Jose State with a degree in Mathematics and a focus on Computer Science, Barton became a Certified Scrum Trainer in 2005 and has trained over 500 people in Scrum.

Alie DeGon
Vice President of Talent Acquisition 


Alicia (Alie) DeGon brings deep expertise and a track record for innovation in the rapidly evolving field of talent acquisition. Previously, Alie has held recruiting leadership roles within an agency setting at The Blackstone Group, and within the high-growth corporate environments of Starbucks Coffee Company and Amazon.com. Alie has a passion for building teams and organizations. As an MBA and Labor Economist, she also loves to measure what happens when combinations of people come together with common goals. Alie's fortes include listening to customers, understanding their businesses, and crafting human capital solutions that make visions reality.

Eric Burke
Vice President of Marketing 


Eric draws on more than 15 years of IT consulting and Agile product management experience to position SolutionsIQ products and services for success in the market. Eric joined SolutionsIQ in 2007 from Pacific Edge Software (acquired by Serena) where he helped to establish the company’s strategic direction through the introduction of market changing approach to project portfolio management (PPM). Prior to Pacific Edge, Eric managed system integration projects for enterprise IT organizations as a management consultant for Deloitte. He got his start in technology as an avionics software engineer and test lead for Northrop Grumman.  Eric holds a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Julia Francis
Director of Sales


Appointed Director of Sales in May 2006, Julia is responsible for all corporate sales and revenue for SolutionsIQ.  Julia manages a business development team focused on solution offerings that enable SolutionsIQ clients to achieve measurable success through business value.  Julia joined SolutionsIQ in 2002 to support and broaden the organization’s capabilities in Public Sector and Education Solution strategies. Her experience includes 15 years of sales and business management of technology software and solutions developed for a variety of vertical markets including government, education, finance, software development, healthcare and telecommunications.  Julia holds a B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in Personnel and Finance.
