Bryan Stallings

Bryan Stallings leads the efforts of the Professional Services Consulting team to maximize the benefits that agile methods present to SolutionsIQ’s software development and agile consulting clients. He is an experienced leader of Agile adoption initiatives, both as a consultant and as an internal change advocate. Prior to joining SolutionsIQ, Bryan defined and led the enterprise agile adoption programs at two previous companies. A Certified Scrum Trainer, Bryan regularly leads Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner training courses.

Bryan is known for his skill at facilitating collaboration with senior leaders and within empowered project teams—across organizations, geographies, and cultures—to foster productive relationships and achieve critical business results. In addition to 15 years of international and domestic experience in information technology, financial services and manufacturing, Bryan has an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina's Moore School of Business. He holds a Six Sigma certification and is also fluent in Spanish.

Vibhu is an expert technologist with over 14 years of experience in Agile practices. As an Agile coach and Certified Scrum Practitioner, he works with customers organizations of all sizes to enhance Agility and Scrum Project Management. An expert in team development and scaling agile, Vibhu most recently established and led a team of sixty developers, mentoring and coaching throughout the entire engagement.

As a senior technologist, he has performed as a Chief Architect, Business Analyst, Technical Lead and Developer across multiple industries. His extensive technical background covers Virtualization in the cloud, Semantic web, Online gaming .NET stack, J2EE stack, Web 2.0, Enterprise Application Integration and various Software Development Methodologies. He’s also dabbled in the rails stack and loves test driven development.

Michael Tardiff

Michael has been working with teams to deliver software and services for over two decades, in large enterprises and small startups on both coasts and in Europe. He has a background in operating systems development, enterprise portals, web-based B2B e-commerce, data communications networks, web presence and telecommunications products.

“Hearing development happen” as teams collaborate, pair-program and resolve issues is one of Michael’s joys, and with expertise in product, program and project management at a director level, he has delighted and been successful in no position more than ScrumMaster and Agile coach. He currently blogs on agile topics, and helps coordinate the monthly Agile user group, Beyond Agile.

Daniel has extensive experience teaching, coaching, and consulting for organizations of many sizes. He specializes in Agile adoption and transformation from an enterprise perspective; that is, focusing on not just the practices (what and how) but the underlying culture and attitudes (why) which contribute to an organization's growth and maturity.

Daniel is the President of the Wilmington Chapter of the Agile Leadership Network and a frequent volunteer and speaker for the Agile Alliance and Scrum Alliance. He was the Conference Chair for the 2013 Scrum Gathering in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development.

Dan is an experienced project manager. Fluent in traditional and Agile practices, he is a coach, trainer, and consultant with over 30 years of IT experience. He is passionate about bringing Agile values to teams to enhance their self-esteem, communication, and work enjoyment. Dan believes strongly in servant leadership, and he models the encouragement, trust, and respect that are vital to building high-performance teams.

He has a wealth of real-world project experience, including product development, COTs implementations, legacy system enhancements, and SOX compliance. Dan has also taught college classes in project management, Scrum, and organizational transformation. His consulting engagements have ranged from companies with 10 employees to Fortune 500 enterprises. Dan earned a BA and MA from Biola University.

Since discovering Extreme Programming in 2002, it has become Ron Quartel’s passion to replicate the business success and personal transformation that he saw agile methods bring to the projects and people he has been involved with in the decade since. His experience covers the software development spectrum of developer, development manager, ScrumMaster, coach, and teacher. Ron’s expertise in the agile practices, and in Test Driven Development in particular, comes from years of practice and is one of his strongest areas of knowledge and passion. From observing and working with high performance teams, he has “distilled out” the commonalities and has strategies to share in regard to recreating this environment, including recruitment strategies.

After studying Computer Science at the University of Western Sydney in Australia, Ron went on to work in Europe and the USA. He is particularly interested is the mobile industry, in which he has 10 years of experience.

William Rowden

William Rowden is a ScrumMaster, Agile coach, and trainer, with expertise in enterprise Agile adoption. He has assisted clients in the U.S., Mexico, and China with learning the technical and engineering practices vital to Agile software development. A skilled communicator and collaborator, he has worked with up to 100 managers, testers, and developers in transition at one time. In addition to teaching technical practices, William co- trains Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner courses.

William brings 7 years of experience to his executive coaching — as co-founder/CTO of an Agile software company, Gray Hill Solutions, he developed traffic.511.org, an Advance Traffic Management System, and a transit route analyzer. His love of languages enhances his development coaching — he can write in over 20 computer languages (most recently Perl, C# 3.5, and Java) and two natural languages (English and Spanish), and is currently studying Mandarin.

Jeff McKenna has been a software professional since 1962. He has worked in all aspects of software development, including analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, and training.  He was a coach on the very first Scrum team in 1993.

Jeff has consulted, mentored, and educated software engineers at many companies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including Cisco, Cigna, Sprint, PayPal, Amdahl, Lockheed, Yahoo!, Microsoft, and a number of startups Jeff   He actively engages with his students, and brings a wealth of experience and great storytelling to his seminars and classes.
