Scrum is an iterative and incremental Agile project management framework. Its simple but powerful approach was originally defined for software development projects, but it also works well for any complex, innovative initiatives. Scrum increases the emphasis on assessing and driving business value through close collaboration with the delivery team.
The role of the Product Owner (PO) is crucial to Scrum's success. The PO steers and guides the project; bridges the gap between customers, business, and development/IT; and is responsible for the project's return on investment (ROI). The Product Owner role combines those of the traditional product and project manager.
SolutionsIQ's Certified Product Owner (CSPO) Training prepares you to effectively collaborate, estimate, and plan with Scrum and Agile teams. Through hands-on simulations, you'll learn practical techniques for managing software releases, including release planning, roadmapping, and prioritizing features by business value. You will also learn how to adaptively re-prioritize future work while assuring incremental progress is being made, how to use techniques such as user stories to clearly communicate requirements and acceptance criteria to development teams, and much more.
Taught by our experienced Scrum trainers, thought leaders in the Agile community who are certified by the Scrum Alliance, our CSPO training is interactive and highly experiential. Upon completion, you will be ready to assume the role of Product Owner and apply Scrum to optimize customer satisfaction and value creation.
