Charlie Rudd is leading SolutionsIQ into the future, driving the vision and transformation of our Agile organization, and consolidating our core capabilities around leading-edge Agile practices.

Formerly chief operations officer, Charlie has been responsible for establishing the SolutionsIQ business strategy and running day-to-day business operations since 2003. Prior to joining SolutionsIQ, Charlie worked for seven years at Microsoft in IT management, where he led the technical teams responsible for business applications across all company divisions. With more than 20 years in the industry, he has extensive experience in business application development, project management, program management, process improvement, change management, and workforce development.

John S. Rudd / President & CFO

With a strong background in finance and operational management, John Rudd ensures the long-term financial stability of SolutionsIQ during our ongoing evolution as an industry-leading Agile organization.

John was formerly a partner in Newmarket Partners LLC, where he led the firm’s financial practice, specializing in advisory services, mergers and acquisitions, and interim management. With an MBA and extensive experience as a business owner, adviser, and lender, John brings a multifaceted perspective to his clients. He has filled executive roles including interim chief executive officer, president, chief financial officer, and chief restructuring officer for multiple companies.

Brent Barton / CTO

Brent Barton plays a key leadership role in implementing the strategic vision of SolutionsIQ as an Agile organization. Brent continues to drive the growth and development of our premium Agile development and consulting services, addressing such key issues as delivering greater value to customers.

Highly regarded as a Certified Scrum Trainer and Agile coach, Brent is recognized as an international leader in Agile consulting. He brings more than 15 years of technical experience as a consultant and mentor to his role as CTO. Through Agile methodologies he helps companies successfully build software better and faster.

Lance Young / Vice President of Product Strategy

Lance Young spearheads the quality of SolutionsIQ premium software development services. His focus is bringing business concerns into the Agile process to help demonstrate the business value of Agile practices to traditional waterfall companies.

As an Agile consultant, development lead, and enterprise architect, Lance has 16 years of software development experience in a wide range of projects using both traditional and Agile methodologies. He began using pure Agile development practices in 1999 and has been using Scrum, XP, and combinations of Agile methodologies exclusively since then. Lance is a regular presenter at free seminars and at volunteer technical and process groups, including the Seattle XP user group, Seattle Java user group, and the Seattle chapter of the International Association of Software Architects.

Eric Burke / Vice President of Marketing

Focused on articulating a consistent value proposition and message to the market, Eric’s key responsibilities include redefining SolutionsIQ services from a product perspective and crystallizing the company’s vision.

An MBA with more than 15 years of IT consulting and Agile product management experience, Eric joined SolutionsIQ in 2007. Prior to joining SolutionsIQ he worked for Pacific Edge Software (acquired by Serena), where he helped to establish the company’s strategic direction through the introduction of a market-changing approach to project portfolio management (PPM). Eric also managed system integration projects for enterprise IT organizations as a management consultant for Deloitte. He got his start in technology as an avionics software engineer and test lead for Northrop Grumman.

Julia Francis / Director of Sales

A key customer advocate, Julia Francis ensures we provide topnotch account management by delivering the full spectrum of SolutionsIQ services consistently across accounts. Julia continually strives to enhance our customer focus via expanded service offerings and measurable business value.

Julia joined SolutionsIQ in 2002 to support and broaden the organization’s capabilities in public sector and education solution strategies. Her experience includes 15 years of sales and business management of technology software and solutions developed for a variety of vertical markets including government, education, finance, software development, healthcare, and telecommunications.
