Students can take classes at SolutionsIQ as part of earning their ACP credential from the Project Management Institute
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s leading non-profit membership association for the project management profession, with more than half a million members and credential holders in more than 185 countries. The organization’s worldwide advocacy for project management is supported by their globally-recognized standards and credentials, extensive research program, and professional development opportunities.
PMI was the first organization to offer a credential specifically for project managers. In an increasingly projectized world, professional certification ensures that project managers are ready to meet the demands of projects across the globe. Developed by practitioners for practitioners, PMI’s certification program is highly respected by governments, organizations, and practitioners.
PMI now offers Agile certification via its PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner Program. The program validates the ability of practitioners to understand Agile principles and concepts so they can demonstrate to employers and project stakeholders that the use of Agile is among their project management skills, and that they can apply its techniques based on project needs. To earn the PMI-ACP credential, students must earn 21 PDUs.
SolutionsIQ is a Registered Education Provider for PMI. Our Certified ScrumMaster training and Certified Scrum Product Owner training help students earn their PMI-ACP certification — each course’s 14 PDUs count toward the 21 that are required for the credential.
