Monica Yap is the engagement manager and Agile coach for SolutionsIQ, focusing on building and leading successful Agile teams for outsource projects. Monica has over 16 years of development experience in e-commerce, wireless, and various other industries, as well as more than eight years of experience leading Agile teams, providing quality products through the use of continuous refactoring, unit testing, pair programming, small releases, and an evolving architecture. She has worked with distributed Agile teams over four years (U.S., UK, Singapore). She and her teams have demonstrated tremendous successes, with 90 percent of the iterations delivering on time, meeting or exceededing customer expectations.

Monica is a regular presenter at seminars (including Agile 2005, Agile 2006, and Agile 2007) and volunteers for technical and process groups, including the Seattle Agile user group, Seattle Java user group, and Seattle APLN.
