Scrum Certified Training
This intensive and highly interactive workshop is facilitated by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer. Topics covered during the two days include the fundamentals of Agile, the Scrum framework, and techniques for supporting your professionals to become self-organizing, high-performing teams. After successfully completing the workshop, attendees may take the exam for ScrumMaster certification through Scrum Alliance.

As the voice of the stakeholders, the Product Owner sets the vision and is responsible for seeing it through. This two-day workshop is facilitated by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer. It covers how to clearly define the product vision and work collaboratively with the team and stakeholders to make trade-offs on how to achieve it — specifically, by managing and prioritizing the Product Backlog to ensure shared understanding and purpose. The course leads to Scrum Product Owner certification through the Scrum Alliance.
Introduction to Agile
This one-day course provides a broad primer on Agile values, principles, and practices. An overview of Agile team formation, Agile planning, Scrum, and Kanban, as well as tips for adopting Agile within the organization are also included.
This two-day experiential learning event can be delivered with a focus on Scrum or Kanban. It provides a highly interactive, hands-on exploration of Agile values, principles, and practices with a focus on creating highly productive Agile teams.
In this two-day course, participants learn the fundamentals of Lean and Agile and how to use Kanban to optimize the flow of work. Participants learn to improve outcomes by limiting work in progress and eliminating sources of waste in the process flow.

Re-Energize your Agile Adoption
Too often, transitions to Agile start out with a bang then quickly fizzle under the weight of the status quo, the desire to keep existing business processes, and misunderstandings about Agile. This highly participatory one-day workshop presents a set of observed anti-patterns that organizations early in their understanding of Agile typically face, together with suggestions about how to address them. It also provides approaches to delivering superior value for your stakeholders. Participants learn what others are doing and are encouraged to set up a network of ongoing support after the class.
This course helps participants prepare for the Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner certification (PMI-ACP). The course is offered as a one-day add-on for any two-day learning event. In addition to course content covering the necessary Agile curriculum, this third day of learning, together with the initial two days, provides participants the 21 PDUs required to apply for the PMI-ACP examination.

This two-day workshop is for Agilists who want to dramatically increase their facilitation skills, especially as applied to Agile ceremonies, collaborative events, and other team “moments of truth.” The workshop focuses on professional facilitation skills and techniques as applied specifically within the Agile context. This is an intermediate class for those with 3+ months’ experience working in an Agile environment.

This three-day workshop is for experienced Agilists who want to dramatically increase their overall Agile coaching skills and effectiveness. The workshop addresses the complex environments in which most Agile teams and Agile Coaches operate and delivers the key Agile coaching content, skills, and mindsets. Agile Coach Bootcamp
This is a five-day immersion program for experienced Agilists who are seeking a transformative developmental experience. It combines The Agile Facilitator class with the Coaching Agile Teams class, taking place over five days and evenings. The two classes are woven together into a single intensive and immersive experience that will catapult your Agile coaching skills and results to new levels. You will leave a different person! The Bootcamp is for Agilists with 6+ months’ experience working in an Agile environment.
Technical and Quality Assurance
Certified Scrum Developer Lab
This three-day hands-on workshop combines Scrum with Extreme Programming (XP) to teach the delivery of high-quality code. Focus areas include test-driven development (TDD), refactoring, pair programming, and Continuous Delivery. Participants must have skills necessary to engage in hands-on activities for writing software. The course can be customized to the programming languages preferred by the participants, but any given course should support only one language. The course is facilitated by a Scrum Alliance approved instructor. At the end of the event, participants are eligible to earn their Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) designation, provided that required prerequisites are in place.
This two-day course focuses on the mindset shift to Agile methods for Quality Assurance and Testing, and introduces new analysis and technical practices including Agile Testing Quadrants, Pairing, Unit Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Testing, and Functional Testing. There are no hands-on technical activities within this learning event.
Test-Driven Development Workshop
This three-day participatory workshop is targeted to those ready to adopt a test-driven development (TDD) approach for enhancing software quality. The course covers TDD basics as well as detailed mechanics of unit testing, refactoring, and test doubles. Participants must have the skills necessary to engage in hands-on activities for writing software. Agile for Executives
This one-day experience, intended for senior leadership, begins with up to a half-day primer covering the basics of Agile values, principles, and practices; the role of a leader in an Agile enterprise; and what it takes to jumpstart an Agile transformation. To complete the day, the instructor(s) remain on-site for additional 1:1 or small group discussions with participants, addressing selected topics based on customer needs.
Managing in Agile
This one-day interactive workshop is intended for managers working in an Agile environment and individuals leading initiatives in Agile transformation. Topics address the manager’s role in a number of areas: supporting a continuous improvement mindset; effective feedback and communication; high-performing, self-organizing teams; and techniques for organizational change management. A key focus is on understanding the way managerial roles and responsibilities change in an Agile environment.
This two-day course provides existing and aspiring leaders with knowledge and tools to effectively transition their role within a traditional organization to one in which they are change agents and servant leaders.
Innovation & Business Agility
Enterprise Lean Startup Workshop
This one-day workshop introduces core tools and concepts related to Lean Startup, Business Model Generation and Customer Development to enable an experiment-driven product approach. You will design a new product and gain experience through validated hands-on exercises, and explore some of your organization’s potential initiatives. A second day can be added for hands-on work with your own inventory of disruptive and innovative product and business ideas.
This two-day hands-on workshop will help you build a communication channel between technical accountants and the drivers of your Agile transformation. This workshop provides concrete ideas for creating simple working agreements between your CIO and CFO that are actionable, understandable, and true to the spirit of SOP 98-1 and ASC 350-40. Your revised policy will satisfy the regulatory needs of the technical accountants and won’t impede the progress of the Agile transformation currently under way at your organization.

Implementing SAFe 4.0 with SPC Certification
This 4-day course will set you up for SPC certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In this course, you learn how to communicate the benefits of SAFe®, lead conversations and preparations for launching SAFe® Value Streams and Agile Release Trains, influence leadership adoption of Lean|Agile portfolio management processes, and advocate key organizational changes that are required for becoming a Lean|Agile Enterprise. Upon successful certification, SPCs can teach Leading SAFe®, ScrumXP, Scrum PM/PO and other Scaled Agile classes.
Leading SAFe 4.0
Leading SAFe 4.0 is a two-day course geared at leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) toward successfully implementing Agile in your organization. This course offers all of the benefits of SAFe 3.0 while also introducing participants to those of SAFe 4.0.
In this two-day course, attendees learn about Lean thinking tools, roles, processes, and the software engineering practices necessary to achieve the code quality you need to scale Scrum to the enterprise level. SAFe Product Manager - Product Owner
In this two-day course, attendees learn about the roles and responsibilities of Product Managers and Product Owners in a Lean|Agile enterprise.Through lectures, experiential activities, and exercises, participants will understand the ceremonies that are part of the Agile and Scaled Agile Framework experience, how to build and manage backlogs, how to effectively manage stakeholders, and how to help lead successful Agile programs.
SAFe Program Portfolio Management
This two-day course teaches attendees how to organize around value for optimal business results, implement Lean|Agile program portfolio management, as well as governance and budgeting. Participants will also learn how to use and implement Kanban to prioritize their Portfolios toward improving value flow to the program level.
Beyond a Framework
Beyond a Framework is a one-day add-on to any of SolutionsIQ’s two-day SAFe courses. The focus is on expanding the discussion beyond SAFe, introducing key change management aspects of the SolutionsIQ Agile Transformation Solution, and reviewing additional patterns for scaling Agile within an enterprise. The course explores how an Agile organization can go beyond SAFe to meet the objectives of scaling Agile in their specific context.
