Cadence is the flow or rhythm of events or the pattern in which something is experienced. Cadence is something that Agile teams strive to achieve as it allows them to operate efficiently and sustainably within the iterative cycles that most Agile methods promote. In its simplest form, cadence allows Agile teams to focus on development and delivery of the product rather than on process. Cadence is sometimes used as a verb to mean “to give a rhythm or flow to something, for example, a work process.”
