Sustainable Pace

Sustainable pace is the pace at which a team can successfully perform without having to work an excessive number of hours or risking “developer burnout.” Studies have determined that team productivity greatly decreases when teams work in excess of 40 hours per week. Teams working at a sustainable pace are more effective in accurately predicting their capacity over time while also maintaining the quality of their deliverables.
