Corporate Entrepreneurship

Christoph Stettina is an agile transformation advisor and coach at Accenture in the Netherlands and a scholar at Leiden University. In this episode, Stettina shares with us some findings of his research into the so-called corporate entrepreneur role. This role marries the passion of an entrepreneur to create a compelling product or business with the stability employees enjoy.

The concept of corporate entrepreneurship is one of several that large organizations have tried to develop an innovation capability, because, as Stettina puts it, “If we don’t innovate, we lose. But if we only innovate, we lose as well – so what’s the right balance?”

He also offers some tips for employees to unlock their own hidden entrepreneurial talent – and some of the best candidates might be the so-called troublemakers.
