Agile is more a culture than a process. ElMohanned Mohamed, a program manager and Agile coach, examines the cultural differences we encounter in our Agile teams. While some cultures are very individualistic and others more collective, we need to learn how to draw benefits from both. Mohamed argues that you need both cultural perspectives on an Agile team: those coming from an individualistic culture can help challenge ideas and come up with innovations, whereas those for whom group is more important can draw a sense of purpose from working together.
