Natalie Warnert, Declan Whelan and Jenny Tarwater share their energy, positivity and thoughts on the growing momentum of the Women in Agile movement. This year they paired up individuals to focus on tangible outputs that participants in the “Women in Agile” session can produce, next steps that they can take tomorrow even. They also champion the concept of inclusivity and diversity, not just focusing on women per se. Even so, one way that men can help? Says Jenny (sharing Paul Tevis’s words), “[In a public setting] count to ten before you speak, because oftentimes women may hesitate a little more.”
