It’s that time of year again: Agile 2017 is taking place August 7-11 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida! In its twelfth year, the conference is dedicated to furthering Agile principles and providing a venue for people and ideas to flourish.
This year is going to be different for SolutionsIQ. Being acquired by Accenture last month has brought excitement and change to the industry and to SolutionsIQ, but our mission has not changed — it has only been elevated. Together with Accenture we are helping organizations drive change, improve customer experiences and create greater business value through Agile methods. The industry is changing, and SolutionsIQ is leading the charge.
Agile2017 will provide a stage for “innovators, gurus and authors, thought leaders, and expert practitioners” to share their experiences and deep insight with attendees. If you can’t attend, you can still get an all-access pass to this year’s event with a subscription to SolutionsIQ’s podcast series Agile Amped. We want to dive deep into the latest, most relevant topics, so we will be offering listeners In-Depth podcasts with Agile thought leaders like Stephen Denning, Jeff Sutherland, Lyssa Adkins, Esther Derby, Dean Leffingwell, Arlo Belshee, Woody Zuill, Melissa Perri and so many more!*

Hear Us Speak
Every year our consultants offer their thoughts, insights and experiences with conference goers and Agile2017 will not disappoint! We have four consultants speaking on a wide range of topics, including design thinking, portfolio management and brainwriting.
- “Design Thinking about Design Thinking” with Dan Fuller
- “Investment Optimization with Active Portfolio Management” with Chris Espy & Linda Cook
- “Brainwriting: The Team Hack to Generating Better Ideas” with Chris Murman
- “The 3 Hour Tour: Designing Workshops That Avoid a Stay on Gilligan’s Island” with Billie Schuttpelz & Melody Yale
Share Your Feedback
Agile2017 will also give us a chance to connect with the community in a big way. SolutionsIQ is the largest pure-play Agile consultancy in the world, so this acquisition presents a big change for our community and in many ways for the Agile industry as a whole. With the support and platform that Accenture provides, we can bring business agility, culture change, and innovation in a more impactful way to both new and existing clients as well as to our communities near and far. The opportunity to make Agile the default mindset for approaching work — and, in many ways, life — is very real for us now, and we embrace that opportunity with all our hearts.
With that in mind, we depend on you to provide us quick and constructive feedback as we progress into the future. That’s why we’re extending an invitation to you and to everyone who attends Agile2017 to visit us at our booth and share your aspirations and concerns for the future of the Agile industry. We are all in this together, so if we focus our efforts, we can aspire to make a deeper, more pervasive change — for the better.
Notice Anything Different?
Just this week we launched our brand new website. You can take a guided tour here. The refresh was motivated by our desire to assume the role of tier-one Agile consultancy: how we look, how we gather feedback, how we envision the world of work changing shape, and how our clients can get ahead of that change with business agility. Take a look around and let us know what you think.
See you in Orlando!
